Getting to the Los Angeles Convention Center
Strategically positioned in central, downtown L.A., the Los Angeles Convention Center is minutes from nearby airports, including LAX and Bob Hope Airport. Public transportation such as buses and metro are also available throughout Los Angeles. There are also ample shuttle bus drop off zones for your convenience.
Airports
The Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) serves the Los Angeles region.
Metro Rail is the most cost effective transportation into downtown Los Angeles. There is no direct access to the Metro Rail at LAX, but the airport offers a complimentary 15-minute shuttle to the Aviation/LAX Metro Rail Station. To use the Metro Rail you will first need to purchase a TAP card ($1.00) and load it with at least a one-way fare. The price for one-way Metro Rail fare, including 2 hours of free transfers, is $1.75 (subject to change). Use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at 1-323-GO-METRO (466-3876) to plan your route.
Taxi service is available 24/7 at LAX, and a ride from the airport to downtown Los Angeles takes approximately 25 minutes. Prices can range from $50 to $150. Ride share options such as Uber or Lyft may also be available.
Metro Rail
Metro Rail is an inexpensive way to travel throughout Los Angeles. To reach the LA Convention Center, take the Metro Blue or Expo Line to the Pico Station and exit on the 12th Street side. Car
The LA Convention Center can accommodate 5,600 vehicles and offers 12 EV charging stations for electric cars. The South and West Hall Parking Garages are easily accessible from major freeways and offer close parking to the Center. Parking operates on a non-contact cashless basis, and payment must be made via credit or debit card. Cash will not be accepted.
