The Multidisciplinary BPS Sponsored Curriculum Development and Chapter Promotion Workshop

The dire need for a Bachelor’s in Biophysics curriculum and improved BPS membership in Kenya necessitates this networking workshop. The workshop intends to host participants from different institutions in Kenya. A Bachelor of Science Biophysics curriculum for Kenyan institutions will be developed as a result of this meeting.
Jeopardy & Pizza by Illinois Biophysics

The Illinois Biophysics Student Chapter will host Jeopardy and pizza night to provide an environment for trivia, networking and entertainment for individuals interested in biophysics. Mechanical properties of cells and tissues

The aim of this event is to promote scientific collaboration in the field of biophysics between Mexican and Californian institutions. The program will include lectures from guest speakers, hosts, and local graduate students. The participants will receive guided tours to the Universidad de Sonora laboratories of Biophysics and Molecular Biophysics. The event will close with a round table discussion to work towards defining lines of research for joint grant submissions and graduate student exchange.
Career Conversations over Coffee with Bonus Trivia

The panel discussion will involve faculty members, industry professionals, post-doctoral candidates, as well as graduate students. It will cover the thought processes, methods, and essential tips that one should keep in mind while pursuing a science-related career. The discussion will be followed by light refreshment and a biophysics trivia game with exciting prizes for the winners.
The Second Green Mountain Biophysical Symposium

This an annual meeting event for researchers in the Green Mountain and greater area. This event will have a special focus on early career researchers of broader fields, including biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, and physics, in addition to pharmacy, math, and computer science. The goal is to encourage open interdisciplinary discussions and inspire collaborations across different research and geographic areas. There will be morning and afternoon sessions for oral presentations, and a poster session in the middle of the day.
Youth Workshop of Biophysics
