We are anticipating approximately 120 attendees.

To assist attendees in obtaining a visa, the Biophysical Society will issue a letter of invitation.  To obtain a letter of invitation you must first register for the meeting and pay any registration fees in full.  Submit your request for a letter of invitation to [email protected].

An online program will be available one month prior to the meeting for registered attendees to upload or print. 

Registration includes admission to all scientific sessions and poster area, housing accommodation, breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, welcome reception, and one dinner.  

Meeting registrations are non-transferable. Requests for registration cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing to [email protected] no later than April 10, 2023. No refund requests will be granted after that date. A $50 fee will be deducted from all registration’s cancellation refunds. 

If you or your institution requires a receipt for registration, please send your request via email to [email protected]. Be prepared to provide your name or Membership ID number and any information your institution requires (i.e. method of Payment, verification name or signature).

You can receive a Certificate of Attendance at on-site registration.

Unfortunately, meeting registrations are non-transferable.

If you have not already done so, you will need to create a myBPS account and password in order to submit an abstract.

The late abstract submission deadline is Thursday, April 27, 2023, 11:59 PM USA Eastern.  

The Biophysical Society Office will email early abstract scheduling notices to Presenting Authors only no later than April 6, 2023. Late abstract acceptance notices can be expected no later than the week of May 15, 2023.

No, you do not need to be a member of the Society to submit an abstract. 

Revisions for abstract submissions must be received by Thursday, April 27, 2023, 11:59 PM USA Eastern.

The deadline for abstract submission withdrawal is Thursday, April 27, 2023, 11:59 PM USA Eastern. Requests for abstract withdrawal must have been received in writing by the Biophysical Society via email: [email protected] from the presenting author’s email address. The presenting author's full name and abstract number must be included in the withdrawal request.

You must bring your own laptop, power supplies, and adaptors.  We also suggest you bring a back-up of your presentation on a USB drive, in case of any unforeseen problems.

 Housing is included in registration and a housing form must be completed at the time of registration.
