Biophysics Party

The 1st Biophysics Part is a one-day event that will take place at Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica. The day will have oral, flash and poster presentations. It will also have three invited speakers that will talk about the new challenges that Biophysics is facing today. At the end of the day, a sunset party will be organizes for all participants and speakers. This event will promote networking through the different laboratories in the country that work in the biophysics field, focusing on students and early post-docs.

The late registration deadline is June 29, 2018.

Please note: master, PhD and post-doc less than 2 years after the PhD will be considered in the category of student. 

Meeting registration fee includes: 
- Participation in meeting sessions
- Meeting documentation
- Coffee-breaks, lunch and dinner party
- Certificate of attendance upon request
- Become associated to PYBphy and receive notifications by email of courses and/or workshops organized by PYBphy, exclusively for SPB members.

Abstracts submitted after June 22 will be considered only for poster presentation. The late abstract deadline is June 29.

Note that you should submit a word document following the guidelines below: 
- Abstracts must be submitted in English
- Maximum: 200 words
- Authors should be identified by their first name, initials and last names. For poster, they must be written in English and they may not exceed 85 cm in width and 100-125 cm in height. 
- Abstract can be submitted in PDF of Word format but should be identified with the name of the participant (e.g. Student_abstract.pdf)

Additionally, four oral presentations will be given by the presenting authors of the chosen abstracts. Also, 5 minute flash talks will occur. The Scientific Committee is responsible for evaluating the abstracts submitted.
