Electrostatic, Electrodynamic and Electronic Properties of Biomolecular Systems

This one day event aims to bring together Czech and selected foreign theorists and experimentalists from the fields of molecular biophysics, bioelectrochemistry and coherent processes to discuss the role and relevance of these phenomena in biology from physical point of view. Main topics to be covered are electrostatic, electrodynamic, vibrational and electronic properties of biomolecules and biomolecular nanostructures with the focus on proteins and DNA.

In the first part of the event, speakers, the experts in their individual fields, will present the basic concepts in as well as their current results. In the second part, networking among the speakers as well as students will be facilitated by refreshment and discussions to foster the central European collaborations among biophysicists.

The official language of the event is English.
