Sunday and Monday, March 10-11, 2013, the second Missouri Symposium in Biophysics will highlight studies of membrane proteins. The 1.5-day Symposium features presentations by leaders in characterization of membrane protein structure and function.
The Symposium begins with a poster session and reception on the evening of Sunday, March 10, followed by a full day of sessions on Monday, March 11.
Attendees are encouraged to present a poster in any area of biophysics. Student poster presenters receive a complimentary registration. Awards will be given for best poster by an undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral researcher. There will be ample time for interaction among participants, including speakers.
Abstract Submission and Registration
The organizing committee invites poster submissions on topics related to any aspect of biophysics. The posters may describe recently completed research, research in progress, or publicly presented research.
Please use the online form to submit an abstract for your poster. Deadline for submission is March 1, 2013 in order to be included in the abstract book and to receive the complimentary rate for registration.
Registration fees will be waived for the poster presenter (one) of all accepted posters.
Posters should be limited to 4 feet tall x 4 feet wide (121 cm x 121 cm). Please bring push pins for mounting your poster. Posters will need to be hung by 5:30 pm on Sunday, March 10. The poster session is from 6 - 8 pm on Sunday. Posters can be removed on Monday evening.
