Virginia Tech will be hosting the first Molecular Biophysics Symposium focusing in structural biology studies of proteins. The event pursues two goals. First, it is designed to enrich the interaction among biophysical research groups located at the southwest of Virginia. Second, the symposium will offer undergraduate students (including those from North Carolina through VT-AMP), with interest in continuing their graduate studies in biophysics, to meet with local and invited biophysicists. We will encourage undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to participate in poster presentations.
Organizer:
Daniel Capelluto, Virginia Tech
Abstract Submission and Registration:
Anyone interested in presenting a poster must submit their abstract when registering for the event. For abstract submission guidelines, please click here.
Also, any undergraduates interested to meet with biophysicists will also need to upload their resumes when registering for the event. A list of biophysicists and their research interests will be available.
- The abstract submission deadline is October 24, 2014.
- The deadline for event registration and to sign up for a meeting with a biophysicist/structural biologist is October 31, 2014.
To register or to submit an abstract for the event, please click here.
