UK Midlands Biophysics Network Meeting

This event will be held on 12th September, 2025 at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK. This meeting will bring together the UK midlands biophysics community. Core participants are connected by having recently won funding to purchase a C-Trap optical tweezers instrument with integrated fluorescence imaging and microfluidics. Through this annual networking event, the group will share best practice on the use of optical tweezers as a research tool and to build the biophysics community in the region. The meeting will be open to all interested researchers with speakers selected from attendees and including graduate students, postdocs, technicians, and professors. A goal is to foster partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and create a dynamic biophysics network that acts as a catalyst for groundbreaking research, innovation, and collaboration. This Networking Event is hosted by BPS Member Dr. Claire Friel, University of Nottingham.
