The biophysics community is growing in the Phoenix region. However, due to the interdisciplinary nature of research at Arizona State University, the population of researchers is scattered throughout different university campuses, making networking difficult. This event will bring work and play together for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members, with a panel discussion and a trivia game. The panel discussion will involve faculty members, industry professionals, post-doctoral candidates, as well as graduate students. It will cover the thought processes, methods, and essential tips that one should keep in mind while pursuing a science-related career. The discussion will be followed by light refreshment and a Biophysics Trivia game with exciting prizes for the winners.
