The aim of this event is to promote scientific collaboration in the field of biophysics between Mexican and Californian institutions.
The aim of this event is to promote scientific collaboration in the field of biophysics between Mexican and Californian institutions. The program will include lectures from guest speakers, hosts, and local graduate students. The participants will receive guided tours to the Universidad de Sonora laboratories of Biophysics and Molecular Biophysics. The event will close with a round table of participants to work towards defining lines of research for joint grant submissions and graduate student exchange.

Event Schedule
The program will start with two 45-minutes lectures by the guest speakers, Drs. Shah and Luna. Next, there will be five 20-min talks by the host speakers (Drs. Chan, Villalba, and Maldonado) and local graduate students (Berrellez and Tellechea).
The participants will receive guided tours to Unison laboratories: Biophysics and Molecular biophysics.
The event will close with a round table with senior participants trying to define lines of research for joint grant submissions and graduate student exhange.
