It will start with how to take data from your lab notebook and organize it into an outline and first draft of a manuscript. Finally, you will be guided through the steps of submitting to a journal, the peer review process, and what you can do to increase your chances for acceptance and publication. About Your Presenter Will Hancock is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Chair of the Bioengineering Graduate Program at Pennsylvania State University. His research focus is understanding the molecular mechanism of the motor protein kinesin, understanding the roles of diverse kinesins in cell biology, and using microengineering and nanotechnology to develop experimental platforms and microscale devices integrating motor proteins. Hancock is a member of the Biophysical Society Publications Committee and has twice moderated the popular session "How to Get Your Scientific Paper Published."
